Volt Showcases Design-Led Solar at ArchiBuild Expo 2025

Volt Solar Tile was proud to exhibit at ArchiBuild Expo 2025, Australia’s premier trade event for architecture and construction professionals. Over three days, our stand became one of the busiest destinations on the floor—drawing hundreds of architects, builders, and designers eager to understand a product that challenges expectations around rooftop solar. At times, crowds around the stand brought surrounding walkways to a standstill, as attendees paused to examine the tile up close, ask questions, and understand how a solar product could be this integrated, refined and build-ready.

Redefining What’s Possible in Solar Design

What surprised many was not just the appearance of the Volt tile—but the fact that a building-integrated solar solution (BIPV) like this already exists, is fully certified, and is being installed across Australia and in 82 countries around the world.

While BIPV is still considered emerging in Australia, Volt is proving that it is not a future concept—it is a viable, available solution that aligns with both architectural and energy performance standards. For many who visited the stand, it was their first time seeing a solar product that didn’t compromise the roof form or design aesthetic.

Built for Architects, Backed by Performance

The response from architects and specifiers confirmed what we’ve long believed: there is strong, growing demand for solar solutions that work with architecture—not against it.

Volt provides:

  • A clean, flush finish that integrates seamlessly into the roofline
  • Compatibility with leading roof tile profiles
  • No visible brackets or panel structures
  • Performance and efficiency equal to, many traditional systems
  • Local support and tools for specification, including samples, product data and builder integration

Homeowners Are Asking for Better

As the conversations continued across the stand, one message became clear: homeowners are increasingly requesting solar—but not at the expense of the home’s design.

Volt bridges the gap between performance and aesthetics, allowing architects and builders to meet client expectations without compromise. Whether it’s a custom build or volume project, Volt supports both design integrity and sustainability outcomes.

Looking Ahead

The level of interest, the volume of project enquiries, and the conversations sparked at ArchiBuild confirmed the industry’s appetite for a smarter approach to solar. This is not niche. It’s the next phase of solar adoption—and Volt is ready to support it.

If you're an architect, builder, or developer interested in specifying Volt, we’d love to speak with you.
